Lauren is the in-house career matchmaker at the Schusterman Family Foundation. She oversees CareerHub, which helps to connect top talent to jobs and board positions in the Jewish sector. She also provides career coaching and job advice to people who have participated in Schusterman’s programs such as ROI and REALITY. Additionally, Lauren collaborates with Schusterman’s grantees and partners to develop effective recruiting strategies and help identify candidates for key positions.
Before joining Schusterman, Lauren worked as a management consultant at Accenture focusing primarily on corporate social responsibility and international development. She started and ran a successful business, working with clients on strategic consulting, coaching and organizational development. She also led workshops on social impact careers for MBA students with More Than Money Careers. Lauren wrote a book inspired by her coaching experience: “Coaching is Calling: A Guide to Coach Training Programs and Professional Career Career Paths."
Lauren graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Communications and a minor in Jewish history. She spent much of her time under water as the captain of the swim team. Subsequently, Lauren received a Certification in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University. Lauren now prefers surfing and Stand Up Paddle boarding to the chlorine. She enjoys speaking Spanish, Portuguese, making smoothies and participating in women’s groups.
